— Über uns
In 2018 Ruedi and Vera Baur establish dix—milliards—humains, a research-creation institute based in Paris. The institute is a tool to think citizenship in a different way and to develop a renewed vision of civic design. With an international and transdisciplinary approach, this responsible and social design aims to promote a new form of citizenship.
The objective of the approach is to link local issues - those related to our places of life and work, in particular in urban spaces - to those we all share as inhabitants of Earth.
— Team
The institute is based on the experience of world known designer (Ruedi Baur) and an anthropologist working on urban design and applied creation (Vera Baur). A multidisciplinary and international research team accompanies them.
